My clients often tell me how impressed they are with my studio when they arrive for their sessions and I've realised it is usually the first time they've seen it. I've aimed to make my studio as cosy and welcoming as possible - the most important things is to make parents and baby feel as comfortable and as relaxed as can be.
So I thought I would give you all little glimpse behind the scenes at once of my sessions and show you a few things you can expect when you book your session with me!

I hand make a lot of my props so my shelves are full of wool, wraps and blankets!
My studio is very warm on the day of a session - at least 26 degrees! - as we want baby to be nice and sleepy. They are often naked too for part of the session so they need to be nice and cosy. It can be a little hot for parents - especially the daddies! - so I advise to wear some loose-fitting clothing.
Baby safety is of course super important. I am fully trained in safely posing your little one.
There two rooms in my studio with a comfy sofas, magazines, drinks and lots of food. And I won't judge you if you I catch you having a little nap during the session - new parents need all the sleep they can get!
During my newborn sessions we will work though various sets to offer you as much variety in your galleries as possible. I tend to work through 2-3 naked posing, 1-2 props, sometimes I add in a fur if we have time and finish with some family images.
